Western Governors University is an online university. It is a unique university being supported by 19 governors. This non profit university began in 1995, after a meeting between the Western Governors Association to help build a level of education open to all individuals from any socio-economic backgrounds.

Since then, it has been providing education to students who have the talent and intelligence but who cannot afford to pay for the course up front. What is great about this online university is that it provides fully accredited courses for students whilst still being quite affordable.
